Agreement Terms

  

These terms are between you and D's Lawncare, and govern our respective rights and obligations.


D's Lawncare is fully insured by Texas Farm Bureau


LAWN MAINTENANCE: 


Standard Service includes mowing, blowing, weed eating and edging all turf areas. Our service crews will also blow all sidewalks, driveways, and patios. Anything outside of our standard lawn care service would fall under special services (*when available). Due to uncontrollable conditions such as weather and traffic delays, we cannot specify an exact time of service and reserve the right to change the schedule date.


Special Services Offered

Spring Clean Up

Spring cleanups include leaf cleanup and winter debris removal for lawn and planting areas.

Pruning

Plant pruning twice per year. This helps maintain healthy, attractive plants. Pruning is performed during mid-June and early September.

 

Mulch

To enhance the appearance of your landscape, retain moisture in planting beds, and slow weed development. We offer brown, red, and black colored mulch, cedar mulch, and shredded hardwood.

Tree Trimming

Tree Trimming is a service we offer; we are not a climbing company; we are a lawn care company that can trim trees from ground reach 20 ft. 

Fall Clean Ups

Fall cleanups include perennial trimming and leaf cleanup during the month of October- December. Leaf cleanups include cleaning the leaves from landscaping areas and mulching/vacuuming the leaves from your lawn. 

Fence Repairs


All sales are final on all repairs no refunds or no warranties


Fence installations

50% deposit required for all fence projects.

No warranty on any pressure-treated material.

60 day warranty on labor for cedar fencing and chain link

1 year warranty on cedar pickets 

if damaged by a storm this is considered an act of god and insurance claim can be filed with your property. We are not responsible for acts of god. 

Permits will be filed for all fence jobs, 811 call before you dig will be notified as well. fees accured are charged back to the customer. 

Junk Removal / Eviction/ Trash outs


Junk Removal

Priced per load truck/truck and trailer or just trailer. The disposal fee will be calculated at the end of service.

Tenant Trash outs

Priced per man-hour plus disposal fee accrued. 

Evictions

Priced per man-hour plus disposal fee accrued.


Weeds: Weeds in non-flowering beds are sprayed with chemicals. Please allow 7 to 14 days for the chemical to reach the roots and kill the weeds. Hand-picking weeds is an extra service; contact us for a free quote. 

Some services are performed as needed, or are seasonal and might not be performed in the dormant season. Please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit if you have specific requests.  

Yard waste: Yard waste the crew will create during services will be bagged. Bag removal is $25/service, it includes 5 bags maximum per service. Yard debris and yard bags will be put at street for City pickup, or put in wooded area per the client request. 

​Extra cleanup: 

Extra yard cleanup after a storm or an act of God, is not included in lawn maintenance. Please contact us for details. The maintenance crew does not carry clean up equipment such as chainsaws. They cannot cut up trees or limbs, or remove heavy debris with a truck full of equipment. 

Contact us: Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance if you need the maintenance crew to perform an extra service (outside the lawn maintenance scope), so we can make sure they bring the right piece of equipment needed for the extra service. 


Invoicing

Billing for all service is invoiced the same or next business day after the service is provided. 


Client Responsibility

Clients agreed to pay charge specified during their first signup. Client does not have to be at home while service is performed but the service area must be accessible and free of obstructions. Prior to scheduled visits, all pets must be secure.

Gate Access

If you prefer to unlock your gate(s), please ensure they are open on your designated service day. If our service crew arrives and any gate is locked, they will only mow the areas they can access. There could be an upcharge for overgrown grass if we cannot regularly access an area. We recommend you install combo locks so we can give the code to our crew on your service day. You must have gate access to your alley if we are to also service that area – we cannot drive around.

Mowing

If you cancel after receiving one service visit under a weekly, biweekly or tri weekly frequency, the onetime D’s Lawncare rate will apply. We will bill the upcharge separately if billing was completed before cancellation.

Notice of Damage

Client must notify D’s Lawncare within 24 hours of any damage by calling 254-220-9051 during the business hours of M-F / 9-5.

Satisfaction

We are dedicated to delivering quality lawn mowing to your complete satisfaction. If you feel that our work is not satisfactory, or you think that we did not show up, simply call or e-mail a short and courteous request with pictures and we will send our lawn mowing crew back to re-mow your lawn at no additional charge – either the same day or as scheduling permits! All requests must be within 24 hours for the service visit in question.

Complaints

Any complaints, questions or concerns must be communicated with our office within 24 hours of the service in question. We also need one or more pictures be emailed to dslawncare254@gmail.com to properly address the issue with our crew and before any credits will be issued. We try to send our crew back to correct issues reported before your next service date whenever possible.

Any complaints, questions or concerns that are not communicated within 24 hours of your last service will be addressed on your next scheduled service.

Service Day

Our schedules for the next day are finished and sent to our crew each day at 5:00PM. A charge of $25.00 will apply to customers who cancel mowing service or skip a mowing service any time after 5:00PM the business day before service or on their actual service day. If your service day is Monday, a skip or change must be communicated before 5:00PM on the Friday BEFORE.

*Please note: The fee for cancelling or skipping a Special Service Request is $50.00

SMS & Email Communication

By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive messages from us. You can opt out anytime by replying “STOP” or using the unsubscribe link in emails.

DECLINED CARDS

If your card declines, we will try the card again the following day. If the card declines a second time, we will cancel all future service until the card is updated. If payment is not paid in full within (30) days a final payment correspondence will be sent. Any accounts not paid in full within (15) days of final payment notice will be turned over to collections.

*Chargebacks on confirmed service visits will also be turned over to collections.




Frequently Asked Q & A: 

Do you mow the grass after it rains?

If the grass is too wet, we will not cut it, but we will focus on the rest of the yard and still perform service, unless advised otherwise. This service will still be considered as a full service.

Can you trim all my shrubs during one maintenance visit?

Your designated crew has a limited amount of time per property. They do as much as possible each time. So, if all the shrubs need trimming at the same time, it may take several visits to get all the bushes trimmed. We leave to the crew the discretion to trim or not trim the shrubs and bushes during your service. Some may be done at another time of the year, or after flowering.

We offer cleanups if you wish to have all shrubs taken care of at the same time.

Can you remove all the leaves during one maintenance service? 

During Fall and Winter months, the crew's priority is to blow the leaves off the grass. They mulch* them with the mowers, then blow the dust off the lawn. *We do not bag leaves to avoid waste and recycling processes. The extra leaves in the beds are cleaned up little by little at each visit. The maintenance crew does a little bit at each service. By the end of the Winter, all the leaves should be removed. We offer cleanups if you wish for us to remove all the leaves in one service.


HOLIDAYS WE CELEBRATE: We will not service your yard on the following days. Our office will be closed. Your lawn maintenance will be serviced the next day available. 

- New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

- Memorial Day

- Fourth of July

- Labor Day (First Monday of September)

- Thanksgiving and Black Friday

- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 

​- Some services are suspended the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
